- Welcome to my love of cooking, travel and opinions about everything from here in the Midwest--T-Town to us locals. We're north of Dallas, south of Kansas City and just about smack dab in the center of nothing but Green Country. I'm a worshipper of Julia Child, will tweak just about any recipe so it's easier, better or different and I love to cook in my gourmet kitchen. I travel, I eat, I drink, I laugh and love my life! I have a wonderful husband from NYC, a houseful of dogs and cats, grown kids and a full-time job. My recipes will range from simple to French cuisine and everything in between including mistakes and how to fix them. So, come along, don't be shocked or shy and maybe you'll like it here.
